Messier 64, a nice spiral galaxy in the constellation Coma Berenices, is, for obvious reasons, more commonly known as the Black Eye galaxy.

The two bright galaxies in the middle of this photo are known as the Eyes, with NGC 4438 above and NGC 4435 below. In addition, you can see two other galaxies on the far right — NGC 4461 above and the much fainter NGC 4458 below. Finally, the nice spiral galaxy NGC 4402 is partially in the frame on the far lower left.

NGC 4567 and NGC 4568, also known as the Butterfly Galaxies, are a pair of colliding spiral galaxies in the constellation Virgo. NGC 4564, below and to the right of the Butterfly Galaxies, is an elliptical galaxy.

Messier 58 is another barred spiral galaxy in Virgo.

NGC 4550, on the left, was originally thought to be a spiral galaxy but is now considered a lenticular with two strange counter-rotating disks. Although these two look like a close pair, there is no sign that the two galaxies are interacting.
