Astronomy Friday — The Butterfly Galaxies

NGC 4567 and NGC 4568, also known as the Butterfly Galaxies, are a pair of colliding spiral galaxies in the constellation Virgo. NGC 4564, below and to the right of the Butterfly Galaxies, is an elliptical galaxy.
