Astronomy Friday — The Eyes

The two bright galaxies in the middle of this photo are known as the Eyes, with NGC 4438 above and NGC 4435 below. In addition, you can see two other galaxies on the far right — NGC 4461 above and the much fainter NGC 4458 below. Finally, the nice spiral galaxy NGC 4402 is partially in the frame on the far lower left.
